Story

This year has been a tough year for many people. We have been forced to stay at home away from many of our loved ones and for some their hugely important support networks.   I believe in the vital role of supporting others to achieve greatness especially those who I am lucky enough to count as my friends.  Friends who support us in both our darkest and most stressful moments as well as dance and bask in the sunshine of our success.

On 12th September it will be one of those occasions when I will be honored to run side by side, and stride after stride, with my dear friend Jenn.  She and I will be running the Richmond Half Marathon together in support of something much bigger than both of us.

Jenn is a mum, like me, whose journey includes being mum to a 10 year old daughter who is autistic and Jenn has spent the last six years volunteering and paying it forward to other families by serving as Chair to Skylarks over the past 6 years.

Skylarks is a charity that serves a vital role in our community here in Southwest London as well as nationally.  It supports children with
additional needs to thrive and live their best life through therapies, social interaction and life skills. They also support their families including parents and siblings with all kinds of support like education advice and securing funding for services.

Please help me raise the much needed funds for Skylarks and make a huge difference to the families that rely on their support, kindness and love.

Thank you.

Carol
