Representing team pastoral and Springy AB Team at  Springwell Community College, Miss Hoyle and Miss Fazil are running the
Great North Run 2018 and taking part in charity spin classes in
Chesterfield to raise money and awareness for Bullying UK.  This
amazing anti-bullying charity works in conjunction with Family Lives.

As the summer is nearly over and students across the country are gearing up for the new academic year, many are filled with dread and anxiety for the fear of bullying. This has a detrimental effect of on their self-esteem, mental health, emotional and physical well-being and their education. Hence, why it's so important that we continuously raise awareness and support for anti-bullying and push for as many schools as possible to have anti-bullying ambassadors.

Bullying UK provides a number of services (check out their website) to support the whole family who have been effected by bullying. The money raised for the Great North Run and charity spin classes will go directly to the Bullying UK charity and help them continue their amazing work.
