Story
Caroline and I want to join all those who are fundraising at this very difficult time.
Our chosen charity is The Larder, situated in East Belfast. This is the Foodbank supported by our Parish Church. At this time it’s difficult for us to provide food donations because of where the Larder is located in Belfast and where we all live within our Parish.
Our challenge over 31 days is to either walk, run or cycle 5k around our beautiful village. By the time we complete the challenge we will have covered 155K each!!
Every year, The Larder provides food and support to thousands of vulnerable people in East Belfast. The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact across society and local charities are suffering. This is a time when we would like to rise to the challenge and support the Larder.
Caroline and I usually enjoy the sociable side of exercising together and are missing this lots. We can’t run/walk/cycle together but we are going to encourage each other every day by completing this as a team effort at our own individual time.
We’re excited to embrace this challenge. We know times are tough for everyone right now, but if you can, please donate what you can to help us meet our fundraising target. Your support will help provide food and toiletries to thousands, helping them through this crisis and giving hope.
