In September 2014 I walked the pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago with my mother, and am now running the 1000km route at the end of April in 2015. The route will take me from south France, over the Pyrenees into Spain and along the north to Santiago de Compostela. The original route is 790km but I will be continuing on to Finisterre and back to Santiago to make 1000km. It is the ultimate challenge as an asthmatic and not a professional athlete, and will be running 20-25km a day for over two months.

My father passed away from a heart attack at a young age and I am challenging myself with what will be my greatest physical achievement to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and their incredible research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the heart.
