This year I have decided to take part in the bath half marathon for Bowel Cancer West who work to increase survival rates for the UK's second biggest killer.

At the moment the NHS do not screen for bowel cancer under 55 however there have been heartbreaking cases such as Lisa Wells who was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer when her daughter was just 5 weeks old. You can read her story below and sign the petition to lower the screening age:-
