Story
Last time I ran, I ran for Chelsey. This time I am running for Scott.
Scott was a amazing young man with an awesome personality who was very special to me and I feel honored and privileged to have been part of his life. I want to raise as much as possible in his memory.
My first real introduction to hospices came from a wonderful little lady, she was a special little girl and she touched the hearts of all who knew her. She passed away in our local children's hospice in 2011. More recently I have witnessed their work again with an incredible young man, Scott. Scott used the same hospice as Chelsey while he was alive, he loved his respite breaks there but sadly he passed away there earlier this year. Hospices across the country do wonderful amazing work and at some point in our lives most of us will be touched by their services in one way or another. Hospices look after not only the sick person but also their whole family and they need to raise £1.8 MILLION pounds a day to run, that is a huge HUGE amount of money, each hospice out there needs to raise £9000 a DAY. £9000! To try to help just a little bit I am pledging to raise £2000 by pounding the streets of London on marathon day.
