Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many people take part in an event like this in memory of a loved one however my story is a little different.......
On 25th October I woke to celebrate my son Riain's 15th birthday however it was on this same day our world turned upside down when we found out the devastating news that my aunt was diagnosed with cancer.
Pamela, better known to us as Pam Pam, began the biggest fight of her life as we all started her journey to battle her cancer. From this day we found how great a fighter she really is and how she has become an inspiration to every single one of our family.
Everyone may have and probably will be touched by cancer at some stage in their life so when the Curran family organised this White Collar Boxing event in memory of their mother Olive, who bravely lost her battle in October 2016, I was honoured to join.
I take on this challenge over the next 12 weeks to train and fight to try to raise as much money and awareness as I can for the Southern Area Hospice Services. The service they provide the community is absolutely amazing and families can never repay what they do.
Please please please donate as much as you can as I try to fight alongside our Pam Pam in her fight against cancer.
Thank you so very much
