Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you may know, several members of our team and their partners are taking part in a 24 hour run to raise money for Cerebra. Cerebra is a national charity that seeks to improve the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disorders through research, education and direct ongoing support. One example of where Cerebra makes a real difference to families is through their ‘Cerebra Innovation Centre’ (CIC). Engineers and designers at the CIC design and produce products and equipment to help children and their families. Examples of previously comissioned equipment include supportive trolley seats, protective clothing and specialist scooters. This is just one small area where Cerebra make a difference to families. You can visit their website to find out more information about the work the charity do: http://www.cerebra.org.uk

To raise money for Cerebra, two teams of runners are participating in a 24 hour running event: 'Endure 24'. In each team, runners will take turns running the five mile race course at Wasing Park, through wood, up hills and past cows! The idea is that we will keep on going for the entire 24 hours, meaning that each person will be running at least 15 miles. This will be a huge challenge, as many of us are new to running.

We would like to raise as much money for Cerebra as we can to help with all the amazing work they do for children and their families. Any amount donated is really appreciated.
