I am Tom Ashworth, I am 8 years old and have a broken leg. Without a leg in a cast I enjoy getting out in fells at home in Lake District whenever I can. I am a fell runner, running with Ambleside Juniors and enjoy climbing, swimming, scrambling, mountain biking etc, you get the idea.. Breaking my leg has put me temporarily in a wheelchair. I know that soon enough I will be back out doing all the things I enjoy and have been trying hard to get out and about as much as I can whilst in the wheelchair. I wanted to take on some challenges whilst in my wheelchair and do some fundraising to help children experience the outdoors who aren't as lucky as me, children who maybe won't get out of their wheelchair as soon as I will.

Just £40 can support a person with a disability to try climbing for the first time and start to believe in what they can do, rather than what they think they can't.
