I'm doing the Marathon for entirely selfish reasons; I want to see if I can do it, just to push myself. However, one of the Charities that I have been supporting for a while, the St Giles Trust, does great work in an un-sexy, un-cuddly area and if by running the marathon I can cause them to get a single extra penny in funding, it will be great. I have made a donation on a personal basis which does not show on this page.
