I was diagnosed with a rare cancer in August 2014 at the age of 41. After chemo and surgery I went into remission in March 2015. By August of that year I was feeling unwell again and was diagnosed with cancer again in December 2015. Another 6 months of chemo followed, finishing by June/July 2016. Unfortunately, I started feeling ill again in August and was diagnosed with cancer yet again in November 2016. I am currently putting off chemotherapy for as long as I can to hopefully get a better response from it when I do start again. The thought of another 6 months of chemotherapy fills me with dread, but I will do whatever it takes to live. I have exceeded the statistics of this terrible disease and will carry on doing so.
