Story
My name is Chloe and I am 11 years old. I have recently found a new love of running and want to put my legs to good use. My aim is to complete a half marathon before my 12th birthday on the 15th of July. Otters are my favorite animal and I have a toy otter who was given to my Granny when my Dad was born therefor is on his 3rd generation.. I am aiming to raise £250 from it and it will be going towards the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned otters here and abroad.

We all know that otters are special animals - not only are they wonderful to watch but they are great indicators to a healthy environment. And yet they are being exploited for commercial gain and in some places hunted almost to extinction. Their habitat is being destroyed and fish stocks depleted. And they are being killed on our roads. But the biggest problem facing otters today is LACK OF AWARENESS and that is what IOSF is aiming to address. We need YOUR help to spread the word and to help fund projects to support all 13 species of otter.
