Story
We will be embarking on another weekend trip to France for some very tough up mountain cycling, culminating with an attempt on the lofty pass of the Col de Tourmalet, the highest paved mountain pass in the French Pyrenees at 2,115 m (6,939 ft). The peloton consisting this year of brother Kieran Humphrey, Craig Black, Don Ewing and myself.
We will be raising some money in the process for Stokenchurch Dog Rescue. Even just to raise a few quid for Stokenchurch would be an honour. We are targeting 1 pound for every metre of climbing up this historic mountain pass - 1,404 metres, over 19km of climbing. This is a hefty goal, so every pound will be gratefully received.
Tipsy was our beloved pet, who lost her battle to cancer last October. Without the work of Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Tipsy and us would have never found each other. Any money you donate will help Stokenchurch Dog Rescue to continue to provide high quality care, help unite dogs with new loving owners, as well as offer long term accomodation for the most traumatised dogs, who can never be re-homed as they have been so mistreated.
Thank you for your support and generosity...I am not sure how many more of these beasts we can do....but your support will help keep us turning those cranks over.
