Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A group of friends have been walking the the three peaks annually for a while now. One of my old school friends Al was an initiator of this walk. Sadly he passed away in 2015 after a battle with cancer. The walk is now done in his memory every year.
This year I'm finally getting myself up there to do it, and would like to try to raise some funds for the Arthrogryposis Group. My son Dougie has arthrogryposis. This is a condition where arms and limbs can be fixed in contraction or flexion. This happens during pregnancy, and can have many causes. Despite being very ill, Al always asked after Dougie and how he was getting on, and it seems fitting to try and support TAG from this walk.
The Arthrogryposis Group (TAG) is a very small charity that provides support to people with arthrogryposis of all ages, organising meet ups and supporting families.
