Due to COVID-19 young people are facing a crisis in education, in employment prospects and in acquiring the skills and capabilities they need for their futureYoung people are facing the double whammy of disrupted education and a tough labour market. 

Together with our teams at St Pierre Groupe, I am fundraising to help support employability and life skills charity Working Options in Education who provide vital support to young people - they need it now more than ever.  I'm going to cycle 571km in the month of April which would be my biggest ever monthly total.

Working Options in Education's employability and life skills programme is delivered free in schools, colleges and online. They offer young people multiple interactions with employer partners and volunteers, inspire and motivate young people about what is possible for their future and help them acquire the necessary employability skills. They particularly focus on engaging disadvantaged young people, to bridge the opportunity gap in employment prospects that continues to widen, by targeting social mobility cold spots.
