Founded more than 200 years ago the Sailors' Society is a Christian charity dedicated to caring for merchant seafarers: the 1.6 million men and women who keep the world’s economy moving. ("No shipping – no shopping!"). The Sailors' Society reaches out to them where they work, on board the huge variety of cargo and cruise ships in many of the world’s key ports, and to their families and communities at home. It provides a wide spectrum of services – from chaplaincy and spiritual guidance to welfare support, access to education and financial help for those in desperate need. I owe my career to the merchant sailors that keep us comfortable, often at personal cost.  Please help me to help them through the Sailors' Society.  Thank you!
