Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Ruby-Mo Collier was born in September 2010 with an exceptionally rare complex chromosome abnormality that affects her whole life.
As a result of this Ruby has global developmental delay, chronic lung disease, is oxygen depenedent and is home ventilated. Ruby suffers from recurrent respiratory problems along with feeding difficulties which means that milk can only be fed directly through her stomach.
Claire and Lisa are helping to raise money for Tree of Hope on behalf of Ruby. Tree of Hope offers hope to the families of sick and disabled children in the UK who need specialist medical surgery, treatment and therapy in order to free them from suffering, giving a better quality to their young lives.
Claire and Lisa (who, btw are both petrified of heights!), along with some other amazing people will be walking to the top of the O2 on Saturday 13 September....rain or shine for Ruby-Mo! We are all hoping to raise lots of money to help give Ruby a brighter future. The money we raise will help towards specialist treatment, including, physiotherapy, alternative therapy, specialist equipment and lots of support to keep Ruby well as well as helping towards Ruby's physical and learning development.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Ruby. If you want to follow Ruby's progress you can add her on facebook 'Ruby-Mo Collier' or you can send Ruby and her family good luck wishes to ruby-mo@hotmail.com
There will be photo evidence of Claire and Lisa at the top.....look out for it on Facebook!
Thanks all,
Claire & Lisa xxxxx
