We are raising funds to rescue & rehabilitate Scottish wildlife

Story

The North East Wildlife & Animal Rescue Centre is the largest wildlife rescue in the north of Scotland.   An independent charity based just outside of Ellon and only 10 minutes from my house,  it takes in large numbers of orphaned or injured birds and mammals every year.

Since starting in 2006 they have rescued and rehabilitated over 16,000 animals and birds.  They have a 24/7 service, offering advice and assistance, and an animal ambulance to rescue the animals in.

They really are fantastic and we have used them many times to give us advice on wild animals round our house and also for taking in injured animals we have found out and about.  It’s a huge peace of mind knowing we have them on speed dial to help any animals we may come across who are injured or orphaned.
