Fundraising for Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals Charitable Funds
Story
My little girl, Lily, was born prematurely in December 2012. Although she wasn't treated in the Doncaster Royal Neonatal Unit I have another reason to give back to my home town hospital.
My brother, James Annis Joseph Madin passed away age 3.5 months in the Doncaster Neonatal Unit when I was 3.5 years old. The doctors and nurses gave everything they could to try to save my little brother but unfortunately it wasn't to be and he passed away.
The doctors and nurses in neonatal units all over the world work so hard, so selflessly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and until you've seen them go about their work you simply cannot imagine the commitment they have to each and every child who passes through their doors. I couldn't possibly do a show in my home town without raising money for Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The hospital I was born in and the hospital that has treated, saved and supported so many of my family and friends over many years.
