We support research & wellbeing projects to help those with childhood brain tumours

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Three years ago, Ella started baby ballet and met a very cheeky, but funny, little boy called Skye.  A year or so later, Ella was very excited to learn that Skye was due to start the same school as her in 2013.

Unfortunately, just a few days before he was due to start school, he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour.  He endured surgery, and gruelling chemo and radio-therapy.  Devastatingly, this treatment programme caused severe neurological side effects, and he was diagnosed as having radio-chemo neurotoxicity.  Sadly, Skye died in August 2014, as a result of this treatment.

Skye's family have been working tirelessly to raise awareness, and funding, into research for better treatments for this horrific disease in the hope that other children don't have to suffer as Skye did.  Any money you can spare by sponsoring me, will make a huge difference.

Also, once you have sponsored me, please do take the time to look at their website to learn more about where the money will go, and see what an amazing little boy Skye was.
