I am celebrating a significant birthday on 1 May. I don't want or need anything (except health, peace and happiness for my family and friends), so I thought I'd use the occasion to try and raise some funds for Transform Healthcare Cambodia. I've been involved with the charity for some years and went to Cambodia on the first clinical visit in November 2014. Since then the charity has grown and flourished and we now have two medical and clinical teams a year making the trip in February and November, as well as second year student nurses in August. If you're able to donate anything, however big or small, it will be the best birthday present I could have and it will continue to help the amazing people at the Battambang Referral Hospital and surrounding clinics who are rebuilding their health care system after the atrocities of the Pol Pot regime.
