The event raises awareness and funds for the great work of Skiing with Heroes. Skiing with Heroes is a UK based charity dedicated to helping veterans with life changing injuries turn their lives around and get back to work, through mentoring, ski-based development and an employment programme.

Over three days of skiing, the team comprising Tony
Stenning, Colin Thomson, Helga Mepham and Sarah Napper will be competing in a team Ski Marathon (ski as far as they can together up to 101.8km) and a Giant Slalom. They will need to pit their strength, teamwork and power against corporate teams from across the city, veterans and Paralympian’s.

Given the make-up of the team, and our poor 2016 performance, we are aptly called 'We can't be last again!'.
