I decided to go crazy and had decided to run another marathon! Unfortunately just over half way through my training I was told I couldn'd do the full marathon distance by the Doctor but I was determined that it shouldn't stop me paying my respects to my Nana. So I am now doing the 12km run.

Perth hold a City to Surf event in August, which was where I planned to run the marathon distance. I was unable to get home for the funeral so I want to pay my respects in this way.

I appreciate that I have fleeced you all for cash lots of the years. Hopefully this is a cause that is close to your hearts and will encourage you to dig deep.

The Perth City to Surf is on Sunday 26 August 2012. Training has already started!
