Story
With help from our amazing friends, family and friends of friends, this will be the 6th year running we are able to assist the Crashpad Homeless Shelter in supporting young people who will have no where else to go during the winter and Christmas period.
ABOUT: The Crashpad homes roughly 20-25 young people during the winter between the ages of 18-23 who would otherwise have no where to go but the streets. Some of these kids will roll into the shelter days before Christmas, having been on the streets for weeks before they are found and referred, or even being kicked out of their family home on Christmas Eve!!
Each year thanks to the outstanding generosity we have received we are able to surprise them on Christmas day with bags of presents. Anything you can give this year, no matter how big or small will aid us in being able to continue this amazing gesture of good will. It’s hard to convey in words how much it means to them on a day they were expecting nothing at all!!
We are also collecting (must be clean and in good
condition):
jumpers
jackets
/coats
hats
scarves
bras
DVD’s
books
Xbox-games
Alternatively
if you would like to donate a special gift yourself or have any questions regarding the project please do not hesitate to

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we wish you all an amazing Christmas!
*****in 2017, the Government stopped Housing Benefit for young people. The Crash Pad houses and supports young people between 18 and 23yrs old who are at risk or are fleeing harm. In the winter of 2017 we saw 89 young people come through our shelter doors asking for help. 80% of the young people were orphans or did not have a safe home to return too. Since May 2017 we have supported a further 25 young people and the numbers keep increasing. Support us to raise money to open a second stage project to help young people into work and find a home.******
