Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Credit Risk Solutions has adopted Parkinson's UK as our Charity of the Year. Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. The cause is not known and there is currently no cure.

A number of us at CRS have experience of family members with Parkinson's so we decided to raise awareness and also raise money for Parkinson's UK. On 4 October 2014 Mike Clark, Lisa Humphries, Matt Cox, Sam Hibbs, Catherine Sweeten,  Brian Coleman, Victoria Coleman, Rachael Hodson, Helen Parkinson and Patsy Hofman took part in a dare-devil tandem team skydive for this charity. Most of us are scared of heights!

We were also accompanied by a number of brave underwriters. Our thanks go to Terry Macauley (Euler Hermes), Wayne Grindle (HCC), Siobhan Friel (Atradius) and Simon Philpin (Markel).

Parkinson's UK needs £70,000 every day of the year to fund vital work and is totally dependent on voluntary donations.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
