Story

Thank you for your support towards the Crenham Award. The raffle is now CLOSED and the winners will be notified shortly.

Raffle tickets: £25 each. Provide your name and email to be entered.

Enter Arvon’s raffle for a chance to win a pair of three top price tickets to see Kenneth Branagh and John Hurt in John Osborne’s play The Entertainer, in London’s West End. All three winners and their guests will:

  • attend the press night performance on 30 August 2016*
  • attend the after-show party organised by the theatre
    producer
  • spend two nights at Hilton’s boutique hotel, The Trafalgar
    Hotel, in central London

Proceeds will go towards Arvon’s Crenham Award, supporting a
three-year partnership with the Peer Mentor Service at Liverpool Waves of Hope. The individuals to benefit will be volunteer mentors who have experienced difficulties with substance misuse, homelessness and/or offending, and now provide inspiration and support to those who are still in that situation.

Tickets are £25 each.

To purchase a ticket, or multiple tickets, please click the 'Donate' button at the top of this page.

Please enter multiples of £25 into the 'custom donation' field. A donation of £50, for example, will buy you two raffle tickets.

For terms and conditions, see:

www.arvon.org/supportus/crenham-award/crenhamraffle

Any amount that is not a multiple of £25 will be treated as a donation to Arvon’s Crenham Award.

At the heart of Arvon is the desire to encourage anyone, regardless of background, to find their voice through writing. A third of our residential courses are for schools, young people and adult groups. The courses take place at our three rural writing houses, led by leading authors and poets. We believe harnessing the imagination can change lives for the better. It allows us to create new possibilities, new ideas, new futures. It unlocks our potential, our empathy and our hope. Writing is an important life skill and part of a fulfilling life.
