Story

This year I'm running my third London Marathon (and second without an ACL) to raise money for the Southgate Sports and Leisure Trust (SSLT), a charity very close to the hearts of my friends Seymour, Mim and Rowey.

The SSLT is the owner and developer of sports facilities at North London's Trent Park and home to hockey, running, football and fitness clubs. The facilities also offer a wide range of coaching and training facilities to introduce and encourage young people to learn about and enjoy sport.

Please give generously. I'm also open to any donation challenges you may have - ie the faster I go, the more you give!

I'm tentatively also looking to go sub three hours if training goes to plan. Big if.

About the charity

The Southgate Sports and Leisure Trust (SSLT) was formed in 1996 as a registered charity to acquire and develop a 6 acre site to provide a community sports centre in partnership with Middlesex University on their campus at Trent Park in North London. Today the facilities at Trent Park are home to hockey, running, football and fitness clubs and offer a wide range of coaching and training facilities to introduce and encourage young people to learn about and enjoy sport.
