The Pink Champaigners - a volunteer group of friends in support of Breast Cancer Campaign

We all know someone who has been affected by this disease, and know that it robs people of their mothers, sisters and daughters prematurely. As a group we have a belief, in the aims and objectives of the charity and want to help support the organisation however we can.

It’s very encouraging to see the progress that has been made and always interesting to hear about the latest research and developments. We as a group feel Breast Cancer Now is good at keeping their supporters informed and making them feel that they are very much a part of the charity.

The Pink Champaigners have held some fantastic events including ladies lunches, Bollywood night, D-Day celebration, car boot sale, Halloween event, afternoon tea, fashion show & Christmas market and a Summer Ball.  

The Pink Champaigners have raised over £14,000 for Breast Cancer Now.

We are continuing our fund raising ... ‘Paint Penwortham Pink’, and will be held during October.
