Story

As many of you will know a few years ago I had an unexpected stay in the neurological unit in Hull Royal Infirmary. I was exceptional fortunate to come through with just a few new scars and now every couple of years I like to take on a challenge to help support the unit that gave me such exceptional care. This year the challenge is the Outlaw Triathlon otherwise know as an Ironman Triathlon comprising a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and a marathon for good measure. This is taking place on 29th July at Holme Pierre Point, Nottingham.

I am raising money through the Wishh charity for the Emma-Jayne Memorial Fund with all proceeds going to the neurological Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary to help buy specialist items to help with the excellent care they provide.

Many thanks

About the charity

WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to complement and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospitals, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit and comfort of patients and their loved ones.
