Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Since 2009, Arup has been working on the charity funded, £300 million Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) in the East Midlands.

The programme involves the creation of a 21st century clinical rehabilitation centre of excellence comprising two elements: a Defence establishment for injured service men and women and a National facility for the general population.

Arup has played an integral role in the project, providing a project management-led multi-disciplinary integrated project team including architectural and engineering design, planning, environmental, cost management and specialist consultancy services, drawing on expertise from our offices across the UK.

The DNRC is still yet to hit its £300m target, and we have entered a team of 10 cyclists to race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile cycle race, to help the DNRC reach its goal.

A 100 mile cycle race is quite a serious challenge, and our team are all busy training for the event. We hope that you can support our team, and help raise vital funds for this remarkable project!
