Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page I have set up for my good pal, Douglas Philand. Here is his message to you:-

Hi, as you know, I'm always up for a challenge. This one means a lot, in so many ways, cancer charities being close to my heart. In addition, freemasons have been supporting  Prostate Scotland for a few years and have now raised over £551000!

Now I have been chosen (volunteered!) to represent the masons from the area, or Province of Argyll and The Isles - the Isles being Arran, Bute, Cumbrae, Islay, Mull and Tiree. Along with other Provincial Grand Master's, from all over Scotland, we are going to attempt to abseil from the Forth Rail Bridge, on the 10th of May, 2020.

By attempting this abseil, I hope you will feel able to spare a few bob to help raise a fantastic sum, increase awareness of this disease and the good work of Prostate Scotland. Anything you may feel able to give will be gratefully received and put to good use by this charity and I commend it to you. If you are able to use the gift aid option, that will be an even greater boost.

Thank you for your support. Dug.

P.S. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
