Story

A few years ago my sister in law was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that meant she had to undergo a bone marrow transplant. Thankfully this transfusion saved her life and she is now living a full and wonderfully healthy life. Every year we raise money for this charity to thank them for the support they offer to those diagnosed with blood cancer in Leeds and the support they provided for us during this time.

About the charity

Assists in the relief of persons suffering from leukaemia and other blood disorders by promoting research into such disorders and by assisting in the furnishing, equipping and maintaining a ward in Leeds for the use of people suffering from these disorders from wherever they may come. The additional aim is to give added value to the services already provided by the NHS.
