Story

Hi everyone

Me again - can’t keep out the Boxing Ring

For most of you who know me know that in October of last year I sadly lost my Brother Lee as a result of suicide and I’ve decided that I want to help others suffering from any mental health issues , I’m doing this by raising money for GOFAL a Welsh mental health charity.

New statistics show that Suicide is the biggest killer in men under the age of 50 !

Statistics from the Samaritans shows that in wales alone in 2017 322 men took their own life.

Lees memory will live on

Myself , my family , partner and friends will be taking part in charity based activities to raise money for GOFAL in the hope that no other family has to go through what we did .

We were totally overwhelmed by the amount of support we received and all of the generous donations a total of £960 raised with only a 250 target - we smashed it by 384% time to get back in the ring again and raise more money for a very worth while cause.

Gofal are a Welsh mental health and wellbeing charity providing a wide range of services to people with mental health problems, supporting their independence, recovery, health and wellbeing. They also lobby to improve mental health policy, practice and legislation, as well as campaigning to increase public understanding of mental health and wellbeing. They know that people with mental health problems can and do live fulfilled lives. That is why they exist and continue to work towards their vision of 'Good mental health and wellbeing for all'

Thanks for all the support
