Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend and I are hiking the West Highland Walk (96miles) from Milngavie to Fort William and Ben Nevis (all in Scotland) over 5 days for a local Stoke-on-Trent based charity called the Ginger Bread Centre.

The Ginger Bread Centre provides 24 hour supported accommodation for homeless lone parent families and couples with children. from across North Staffordshire. They accommodate some of the most disadvantaged lone parent families with complex needs and recognise that homelessness is not the only area to address. Importantly, they offer support for learning, history of domestic abuse, alcohol or drug misuse, mental health issues and much more. See their webpage for more details http://www.gingerbreadcentre.co.uk/

Any support you can offer will be much appreciated.
