Dear friends and family.

On June 22nd 2019 I will be competing in the Teens Unite Strictly Dancing Ball In Chigwell.

From February to the ball in June I will be taking professional dance lessons to perform with my partner in front of 400 supporting guests to help raise money for this amazing charity as to boost awareness of their work.

I am sure like me you all know someone who has battled or is battling cancer and this is my effort to help raise the funds.

In entering this competition I have committed to raise a minimum of £2000 but would love to exceed that amount. Although it would be lovely to win, the main reason is to fund-raise to ensure no young person faces cancer alone.

I am sure an incredible night will be had by all on the evening of the competition, in the meantime I would ask that you please be so kind as to dig deep in your pockets to donate in my JustGiving page and make a donation.

Teens Unite is the only charity in the UK to provide on-going support to 13-24 year olds fighting cancer from diagnosis through to post-remission. Seven young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and Teens Unite brings them together through workshops and activities so they can spend valuable time with others their age in a similar situation to themselves. The charity helps to rebuild the confidence and self-esteem of those it supports and prevents feelings of isolation during what can be a long and lonely battle.
