The charity I am raising funds for is 'The Lighthouse for Perth' which is a crisis centre for those dealing with thoughts of suicide, self-harm or emotional distress. 

In 2020, 805 people in Scotland took their own lives with many more attempting. In 2021 a close friend of mine attempted himself and I couldn't be more thankful that he's still here. This is why I'm passionate about raising awareness for this charity because it is actively trying to discourage people from making the worst decision of their lives. The incredible people running 'The Lighthouse for Perth' do this through listening, understanding, and providing support for those who reach out to them
