Myself and Tom Widdows who is one of my best friends and god father to my beautiful daughter Abigail Grace are going to embark on the three peaks in 24 hours challenge to raise some money and more importantly awareness for the down syndrome association. As some of you may be aware on the 01/12/14 our perfect little angel Abigail was born and we were shocked to find out she has down syndrome, although tough at the start we soon learned that this extra chromosome was a blessing and made her even more perfect. However it turns out many people still know very little about this tiny extra chromosome and more educating is needed to show just how amazing and what an important part of our communities people with down syndrome can be.
