Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are two parts to this fundraiser, firstly my daughter Luchia aged 10 and I have been growing our hair for two years to donate it to the Little PrincessTrust. The hair is donated to the charity to make free wigs for children that have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.  Luchia is having hers cut in to a short bob to donate roughly 10 inches and I am having mine cut extremely short to achieve as much length as possible (about 18 inches)

The second part to this fundraiser is that I will be running in the Great North Run this year....this has brought much amusement to our family and friends due to the fact that I am not known for my exercise skills! I have taken this seriously and have been training since early April in the hope to complete it in a respectable time. ( look out Mo!)😂😂

All the money raised will be donated to the Josie Dragonfly Trust which is a local charity that my wife and I feel so passionate about to raise as much money as possible to help change lives.  This charity makes a real and positive difference to the lives of young cancer patients with limited time. They passionately believe in the importance of happy memories and work tirelessly to make them happen to young people and their families.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and also for any donation which will be greatly appreciated.
