I DID IT!!! It was hard, tough and muddy as the name suggests, thank you for everyone who has donated to support this fantastic charity :) It was worth it to be able to support something which is so close to my heart.

Having lost my Grandad suddenly to Pancreatic cancer several years ago. This year I have decided to raise money for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Charity. 

I will be taking part in Tough Mudder Yorkshire on the 1st August 2015 in memory of my Grandad.  

I was shocked when I recently read statistics about this type of cancer and found that 5 year survival rates are only at 3%, 23 people a day die from the disease annually and upon diagnosis average life expectancy is only four to six months.

A £5 donation helps send an information booklet to a diagnosed patient, £10 helps the public who are worried access valuable information on the internet £15 helps send awareness packs to GP surgeries. All of which are really valuable in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.

Please help to give people a better chance of survival by improving early diagnosis rates.
