Story
Hi Everyone!
In our daily life, we have probably all been in contact with antibiotics at some point and some of us might even have encountered antibiotic-resistant bacteria. These resistant bugs are estimated to be accountable for the death of 700,000 people each year and without a global effort driven through scientific research, these microbes are predicted to cause more deaths than cancer does today!
Charities like the Medical Research Foundation decided to tackle this threat by funding often neglected areas of research. This is why I am proud to be part of their National PhD Training Programme in AMR but ultimately they rely on the support of all of us to do this great work! So I decided to overcome my personal fears and jump out of a plane in order to raise funds for a good cause.
It would be amazing if you thought this is something you would like to support! Every bit helps.
Thank you! :)
Daniel
