On Saturday June 23rd around 40 participants will be tackling the Total warrior course at Bramham park,Leeds.Its a 12km course with approximately 30 obstacles to negotiate encountering lots of mud,ice water,Fire and electric shocks!

We are doing this for two causes.Firstly Ambers Law,which was formed following the death of my daughter Amber Rose Cliff last year as a result of Cervical cancer at the age of 25.Amber was denied cervical smears by her GP because of the Government guideline which states that it is not recommended for any girl under 25 to be referred.We believe that if Amber had been given a smear test initially,we may still have her here today.Eventually after being refused on many occasions,she was forced to go private and was immediately diagnosed with cervical cancer.Amber then had to go through many gruelling operations,Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy over a 4 year period to fight the Cancer but it eventually claimed her life on 8th January,2017 as the cancer spread to her lungs and throat.We are campaigning to get the age of cervical screening reduced from 25 to 18 years of age as we believe many young lives could be saved in the future.Ambers Law already has over 367,000 signatures and you can help us by signing the petition on our website www,amberslaw.org. Together we can make a difference.We all have Daughters,sisters,mothers,Nieces.Lets make this happen.

Secondly,we are also raising money for Prostate cancer which is close to the heart of one of our main fundraisers Martin Donnelly.Martin has worked tirelessly on behalf of Ambers Law over the past 15 months so we have decided to do a joint fundraising effort.Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK with over 40,000 new cases diagnosed every year.We want to raise money for Prostate cancer UK to help with further research and raising awareness.

I,m sure you will agree that these are two extremely worthy causes and you have over 40 people who will be enduring this tough assault course giving their all to raise funds for charity so if anyone can please donate in any way,shape or form it will be massively appreciated.
