We raise funds to support asthma research to suppport families living with asthma

Story

Ella Roberta died in 2013 of chronic asthma aged just 9 years old, just a year younger than my own daughter Ella.

The Ella Roberta Family Foundation has been set up to further understand her death and its causes so that lessons can be learnt to prevent future deaths.

Ella Roberta was a very sporty girl, enjoying football, gymnastics and swimming so it seems fitting to run a half marathon around the streets of London in her memory.

This isn’t just about Ella Roberta. Air pollution causes around 40,000 premature deaths per year in the UK, and levels of nitrogen dioxide have been illegally high since 2010 in the vast majority of urban areas in the UK.

The government has been taken to court three times over the illegal levels of air pollution in the UK and lost each time. And yet still the authorities are failing to act.

Please help me raise money for Ella Roberta's Foundation so her family can fund research, raise awareness and help prevent future tragedies.
