Firstly, thank you if you have donated to this cause! 

As most of you who know me will know, I am not a cyclist and I have chicken legs, so the thought of taking part in 2 gruelling cycling challenges is making me nervous! But excited too, because every donation is going to make a difference in the work we are doing at Coventry Youth For Christ. So what exactly is are these challenges? ... 

In September I will be taking on 2 cycling challenges as I work with a team of local people to complete endurance rides around two famous racing circuits on two consecutive weekends.

On September 15th, with a team of 8 riders, I will be embarking on a 24hr relay of Brands Hatch F1 racecourse - one of the most challenging courses in the UK - cycling 2.5 miles and climbing 213 feet in each lap throughout the 24hr period. 

Having put in all the training me and Jon plan on doing more rides in the future to raise more money, including a potential 100 Mile ride later this year. 

And all this to raise much needed funds for Coventry Youth for Christ. Donations will enable Youth for Christ to support more schools and local youth workers and see more young people's lives changed by Jesus.
