A little about me I'm David Ashby, 19 and attending UCL studdying Applied Medical Sciences. 

I am trying to raise as much money as I can for St.Michael's Hospice, as this is where my Grandad Charles passed away. He was really happy at this hospice and I believe that's because they put a lot of effort in for him, and that extra bit. They also kindly gave me a week of work experience, so they really do put themselves out there for others.

So I thought it would be nice to try and return a small amount of the favor by helping them out a bit. Hospice's have a really hard time trying to keep going as they as "with only 30% of our total funding coming from the Government in the form of various grants we still need to raise almost £5 million each year to maintain our current levels of service". 

The hospices don't don't charge anyone for their service they're just there for people who need them, so please do try donate anything even if it's a tiny amount, any contribution really does help.

For my event I'll be doing the ToughMudder challenge which is a 12 mile obstacle course (not that I've ever ran 12 miles). So wish me luck and thanks for your time visiting my page. Also if you could pass the link of this page onto others that would be greatly appreciated.
