So less than 48 hours til the start of what promises to be an epic, and rather soggy, bike ride.  That's right, hurricane Bertha has decided to unleash her worst on Sunday as I make my frantic dash for Shelter (ho-ho!) 

A huge thank you to everyone so far who has sponsored me; exceeding the £500 target already is a great boost but let's go for more, more more!  

Check back here after the race for photos.  As you probably know, I don't have a target time; the aim is just to get round safely, particularly now given the current forecast.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  On August 10th I will be taking part in the RideLondon 100mile bike ride to raise money for Shelter.

Let's face it, no one wants to see a picture of a sweaty guy in lycra.  So please donate generously or the picture of the chimp gets updated to something even hairier...
