On 1st July 2017 I will be taking part in the Cotswold Way Challenge (http://www.cotswoldwaychallenge.com) in memory of my father Don who passed away on 23rd January 2015 after a four year battle with cancer.

During this time along with his own self determination was the incredible work done by the Oncology Department at Cheltenham General Hospital.  Through such an incredibly difficult time all of the doctors and nurses were amazing in the support and positivity they provided and this was a huge help to dad and to the rest of the family knowing that they were providing such a great service.

The Cotswold Way Challenge is a 100km run / walk starting in Royal Victoria Park, Bath at 9am on 1st July 2017 and finishing at Dean Close School, Cheltenham.

I will be raising money for the FOCUS charity through the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity.  The FOCUS charity raises much needed funds to directly provide extra care, specialist equipment and improvements to facilities for local cancer patients.  Please follow the below link to learn more about the charity:

Having seen at first hand the fantastic work all in the Oncology Department do, any donation to this great cause will be greatly appreciated and aid them in their continued service to all patients.
