Story
So this is DoingitforDad#3 (Unfinished Business!)
In 2019 DoingitforDad#1 raised over £5400 for Rennie Grove as a result of a number of fund raising initiatives, including running the London Marathon (slowly).
In 2020 the pandemic cancelled my DoingitforDad#2 attempt to run the London Marathon again, cancelled my Bingo & Bubbles event, but we still managed to raise over £2800 for Rennie Grove.
As time waits for no man (or woman), I have committed to running the London Marathon in October 2022, and Joanne and I will be hosting an even bigger and better Bingo & Bubbles and doing EVEN MORE fund raising events to make up for lost time... such as Joey & I, my sister Sue, and her husband Andy, signing up to do the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge in May 22!
On October 31st, 2016, Dad passed away, 90 years old, leaving a huge gap in our lives. Trying to turn grief into something more positive was the best we could do, and raising money for Rennie Grove is a fantastic way of repaying just a tiny bit of of the love and support they provided for Dad and our family when we needed it the most.
Your support has been literally UNBELIEVABLE. Every penny you donate goes towards providing care for adults & children as they battle against life limiting illnesses. So it really does make a difference, and I can assure you that matters so much. By supporting us to raise money you are showing just how much you care. THANK YOU.
My page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Please say YES to GIFT AID if you can.
Let's do this!
