We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The National Brain Appeal raises much-needed funds for The National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Institute of Neurology (jointly known as Queen Square). The National Hospital is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological and neuromuscular conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, migraine and head injury.

Six years ago I was the unfortunate victim of an unprovoked attack whilst coming home from a night out to celebrate my 23rd birthday; as a result of the attack I suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. I woke up from an induced coma in Queens Square Hospital, London.

I spent a week at Queens Square and with their care, help and rehabilitation I have been able to make a good recovery.

It's taken time to rebuild and the journey continues, but I'm now more ready than ever to take on the challenge, contribute, raise awareness and give something back to The National Brain Appeal & Queens Square for the amazing treatment and after care that I received.
