What does he see as he looks pensively out of his stable? Any Winter brings challenges for both the horses and the frontline staff at the Sanctuary. This year those challenges are exacerbated by the coronavirus crisis and another national lockdown, which looks to be with us for a number of months. Staff are stretched to the limit as they valiantly cover for colleagues who are self-isolating, whilst loss of events has impacted on traditional fundraising. Does he see the virus brought under control as the weather turns to Spring, with a welcome return to normality and a secure future. Or does he worry that the downward spiral of events outside his and the charity's control will lead to the demise of the charity and an uncertain future. The horses have had to rely as always on donations from generous concerned individuals like yourselves for the charity's survival and their continued safety and welfare.  Baking sourdough will not make much difference, but you can.
