Event: Guatemala Volcano Trek, from 14 April 2018 to 24 April 2018
TeamARUK are summiting five active volcanoes in seven days including the highest peak in Central America at an incredible 4,220m!

Story

I'm doing my first big challenge for Alzheimer's Research UK. A 7 day trek across 5 volcanoes to a maximum height of 4220m will push me to the limits. The longest trek I've ever done before was 3 days and that was 20 years ago! So I'm going to need to get very fit for the challenge...

As the Chief Scientific Officer I directly see the impact generous donations have on funding dementia research. The research we fund is to better understand what causes these diseases  and to find new medicines that make a real difference to patients lives.

Please give what you can to this great cause. You can donate by

1. Online using your credit card on my page

2. Via text. Send a text to 70070 with the code GUAT47 and either £5 or £10 (unfortunately, it won't let you donate other amounts)

3. Via a cheque made payable to 'Alzheimer's Research UK' and sent to 3 Riverside, Granta Park, Great Abington, CB21 6AD and add a note that it is for my Guatemala Trek.

Thank you

David
